Pavillion at Mixon Farm Wedding | Ali & Charlie

Wow, what a spectacular wedding at the Pavillion at Mixon Farms, a hidden gem of a wedding venue, located in Bradenton, Florida. The day was absolutely perfect. The weather was beautiful. Not too hot, which is totally not like Florida, it’s always hot!! Not too cold, honestly, it was just right.

We started the day off photographing the most beautiful details. At every wedding, I give my brides a small list of important details we like to photograph. The list can be anywhere from your wedding invitation to the perfume you’ll be wearing. Not to mention, your grooms details are special too. Ali had all of those important details waiting for me, which honestly, is like a photographers haven. Details are my favorite!

Lately I’ve been doing more bridesmaids reveals and guys, let me tell you. They are incredible. Most brides are like hmm, how do you do a bridesmaid reveal if they’re the ones helping you get ready? It’s simple! You have all of your bridesmaids step out of the bridal suite. You have your next best lady help you get ready and if you really wanted, you could even have your MOH help you get ready too, then have her in the reveal as well. No one will know! Ali’s reveal was so special and honestly, it was no surprise there were tears flowing. I mean look at her, she is simply stunning.

But we weren’t done…

Ali and Charlie decided to do a first look. Not only was it intimate and obviously very sweet, but doing the first look only meant we had more time for portraits with the two of them. Only the two of them. It was amazing. We walked the farms, the sun was absolutely blazing but we took full advantage of it! The sun ft. Ali’s beautiful tan ft. Charlie’s blonde hair …. My photographers heart was exploding, LITERALLY. It was the best.

The remainder of the day was truly so relaxed which I believe says a lot about Ali and Charlie. After their first look, the rest of their wedding timeline went so flawlessly. From their ceremony, to family and bridal party portraits, and guys, Ali and Charlies bridal party? Their energy was insane!!! It made me SO happy! To even more photos of the two of them only as a married couple, to their reception festivities. Honestly, everything went smoothly!

We ended the night with sparklers with a cool breeze as if we were right on the beach (well we weren’t on the beach, but hey much closer than I am right now in middle Tennessee) and palm trees in the background. 

The day was perfect.
