I knew I would love them the instant I spoke with them over the phone. I had a feeling, a great feeling!
We met at their wedding venue, The View at Fountains, about 30 miles outside of Downtown Nashville.
Side note- Are you a bride looking for a stunning venue in Nashville, Tennessee or well, right outside Downtown Nashville?
I met Marleen in the bridal suite, which by the way is perfect all by itself.
It has huge windows overlooking the gorgeous scenery Tennessee has to offer with the most beautiful lighting coming into the suite. It also has a HUGE beautiful gold plated full length mirror and not to mention hair and makeup stations for your bridal party. It is PERFECT.
View at Fountains also has a covered ceremony area outside. Although, Philo and Marleen decided to have their ceremony at their church instead.
Once Marleen was dressed into her custom made Olia Zavozina wedding gown, it was time for first looks!
We did a first look with her father and a first look with her hubby to be, Philo. They both gave me goosebumps, full of emotion and love.
The Parthenon, if you didn’t know, is what they call Nashville’s greek temple. It’s located in Centennial Park in Downtown. The Parthenon is a full-scale replica of the original Parthenon in Athens, Greece. It’s beautiful!
Plus, can we just talk about their bridal party for a minute? Their bridal party brought ALL the energy, all 22 of them.
The bridesmaids were dressed in emerald green dresses from Davids Bridal and the groomsmen were dressed in navy blue suits from Mens Warehouse with the exception of Philo whom was dressed in a black tux.
The beautiful couple made their union official with a traditional Coptic Orthodox ceremony shortly after, in the most beautiful church I may add. Their wedding ceremony took place at Music City Assembly of God located in Nashville, Tennessee.
After the portrait session at the Parthenon and their wedding ceremony, we ventured back to their wedding venue, View at Fountains. Shortly after introductions, Philo and Marleen had their first dance on what appeared to be clouds, really it was fog, and sparklers not too far behind. We ended the night with a cake cutting.
In conclusion, Philo and Marleens wedding day was wonderful. It was truly full of so much love and joy.
