As your wedding photographer, photographing your engagement session is very important to us. We LOVE getting to know our clients. Better yet, we love that you get to meet us, see how we interact with you, and most importantly, get a feel how we would photograph you on your big day!
In my opinion, having some variety in your engagement portrait album and even in your wedding portrait album is nice! A lot of our couples will use these images for save the dates, their engagement party and most of the time, they use them for their wedding.
*The best idea* Use your engagement portraits for your guest book. Every page can be a different photo that your guest signs.
With your portrait session being an hour long, we encourage our sweet couples to choose 2 different locations and 2 different outfits. Plus, we will help you choose not only the locations but also your outfits with a custom made Pinterest board that will be perfect for you and your fiancé. Another great incentive to our engagement portrait sessions— a makeup artist to do your make up day of.
Downtown Nashville
One thing I absolutely love about Nashville, Tennessee, is though it is considered Music City, it also has so much history to embrace. Most locations to do your photoshoot in Nashville are historical landmarks. Here’s a list of our favorite locations!
Pedestrian Bridge
Pedestrian Bridge is perfect because you can venture around Broadway and work your way to the Pedestrian Bridge. This bridge overlooks Downtown Nashville, Broadway and the Cumberland River.
The Parthenon
The Parthenon in Downtown Nashville will make you question, are you Greece or in the United States? The Parthenon is a full scale replica of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. The Parthenon is dreamy with its beautiful tall pillars overlooking Centennial Park and downtown Nashville. Another great perk, parking is free!
Union Station
Union Station is neat! With his original structure and so much beauty, this should be a top contender for an engagement session or for your wedding photos. The Union Station, now a renovated hotel, used to be a train station hub in the 1900’s. How cool is that?

Outside of Nashville
Downtown Columbia
Downtown Columbia was one of my favorite locations to photograph an engagement session. During the week, Downtown Columbia is pretty quiet and it can feel as if you have the entire little city to yourself.
Downtown Franklin
