Bailey and Kevin’s wedding day was perfect. I met Bailey at her Air bnb which just so happen to be right next door to her wedding venue, the Bay Club at the Westshore Yacht Club in Tampa, Florida. It was raining but that didn’t dull anyone’s good spirits. After all, rain means good luck, right?
We photographed the most beautiful details and left for her wedding venue where we would meet Kevin and his groomsmen. Her wedding details included her wedding invitation, wedding jewelry, wedding bands, perfume she would wear for the day and some floral pieces to jazz up the wedding flat lay.
At the wedding venue, we did detail photos of Bailey’s wedding gown, bridal and bridesmaids bouquets, of course Bailey getting into her wedding gown and then we did a bridesmaids reveal, too.
Immediately after, we did first looks.
It was very important to Bailey to not only do a first look with her sweet groom but to do a first look with her Daddies. Yes, plural. Her Dad and Stepdad and goodness, was it sweet! Shortly after, she did a first look with Kevin and gosh, that was just perfect, too!
It sounds beautiful right? It absolutely is. With the most perfect weather at this point, remember it was raining earlier? The Yacht Club has a colonial style vibe to it. Every corner is beautiful and definitely photo friendly, plus it’s a yacht club so it’s right on the water. It’s a field day for photographers! Big beautiful doors lead you inside to a beautiful set of stairs, each step with beautiful tile to embrace it. One of my favorite wedding venues in Tampa, Florida. And we certainly took full advantage of it after Bailey and Kevin’s first look.
So at this point, we were already in love with Bailey and Kevin and then we met …. Their bridal party. Oh my gosh. I swear. Your bridal party makes it or breaks it and guys, Bailey and Kevin’s bridal party was THE BEST. You could really tell it was a close knit group of friends and my goodness, did they hype up their bride and groom!!!! We were there for it. At times, I was laughing so hard I was crying. They were hysterical, in the best way.
In front of the beautiful bay full of parked yachts, the sun brightly shining with a slight breeze, the palm tree fawns swaying back and forth, Bailey and Kevin said I do with their closest family and friends in the audience. It was perfect.
Next we did family photos and shortly after, sunset portraits where we would actually go on a beautiful white yacht, with the happy owners permission of course! and was he happy! He even got in a few photos. It was very endearing! We all loved it and him and were so thankful he let us use it for photos! It made the perfect prop for a yacht club wedding!!
We ended the night with an epic and hilarious father of the bride speech, a cake cutting that turned into a cake fight, the bridal party who took over the dance floor and surely danced the night away and we can’t forget the sparkler exit.
It was truly the best day.
Best day ever!! Thank you so much for capturing all these moments!
