War of the the virtual Bridesmaids dresses
Alright ladies. Lets just say we’ve been wanting to do this blog post for quite some time.
I have been photographing weddings since 2014 and I can confidently say… I’ve seen it all. All of the different bridal party trends within the decade.
It’s probably no surprise to you that you can buy bridesmaids dresses practically virtually. I mean, you can buy cars online. Why not bridesmaids dresses, right? After all, it’s 2022.
Insert brides brain>>>>>>>>>Wait….. You mean I don’t have to go into a store for bridesmaids dresses? I can sit… on my sofa… in my PJ’s … shopping for bridesmaids dresses? Yes! Yes, indeed.
Insert brides brain again>>>>>>>>Wait a second… what about the color? Noooo. I need to see the color in person.
Ladies, we have you covered. Well, Azazie and Birdy Grey, they have you covered.
Here’s the scoop.
Azazie Bridesmaid Dresses
First things first. WOAH. Azazie has so much to offer. Ladies, everything from bridesmaids dresses to mother of the bride dresses to flower girl dresses and … wait for it… even bridal gowns!! You can purchase a bridesmaids dress as low as $79.
What I love about Azazie… You can choose 1-3 gowns to try from home. Any dress. With a small fee, these dresses will be sent to your home for you or your bridesmaids to try on.
Plus, if you don’t want to try these dresses on or see the color in person, you can purchase swatches for only $1 or a bundle of swatches starting at $5.
Azazie’s shipping seems pretty easy also. Some of the dresses are ready to ship within 24 hours!
My take– Azazie has a ton of options (styles and colors) at an affordable rate plus they ship fairly quickly. Sounds like a steal!
The only downfall- Azazies website is a bit overwhelming compared to Birdy Grey. Their website is a little distracting as like I said, they truly have so many options. Birdy Greys website is very clean and to the point which I love.
Birdy Grey Bridesmaids Dresses

I left off speaking about Birdy Grey’s website so lets continue!
First, I love how clean and easy their website is. It also helps that their branding colors speaks volumes to me, it’s very trendy and girly! It appears to me you would have a very luxurious experience.
Birdy Grey and Azazie definitely have their differences. Where Azazie has mother of the brides gowns, Birdy Grey does not. Birdy Grey offers groomsmen suits yet, Azazie only has groomsmen accessories.
Birdy Grey offers free swatches (YAY) and their ready to ship dresses at the earliest take 5-8 business days to ship… Azazie takes 24 hours on some to ship. And where Birdy Grey might not have a try from home option, they do have a pretty reasonable exchange and return policy. And, you can try on their dresses at a local Nordstrom store. Call first to see if they have them at yours!
Both, Birdy Grey and Azazie, offer robes for yourself and your bridal party for those perfect getting ready photos!
One thing I did love about Birdy Grey, their gift section. I am a sucker for nicknacks!
Birdy Grey bridal gowns start at $100 but they also offer a sale section.
In Conclusion,
Right off the bat, I was intrigued by Birdy Grey’s website because it’s very pretty, modern and so simple to use. Birdy Grey doesn’t have as many options as Azazie though Birdy Grey appears to have a more luxurious experience.
Azazie’s website appeared to be a lot with so much information and text.
