With its spectacular gardens and majestical views, Cheekwood would certainly be the perfect venue for the classic and timeless bride. 

There’s no place like Cheekwood Estate. No, really! There’s not! We photographed Tish and Andrews session right next to a mansion sitting on the premises of Cheekwood. “Wait, there’s a mansion on the premises?” I know— I didn’t know it either.

Tish was dressed in the most beautiful Olia Zavozina gown and Andrew in a nice fitted suit, these two were dressed to impress and we were there to photograph it.

Originally built as the home of Leslie and Mabel Cheek in 1929, Cheekwood is one of the finest examples of an American Country Place Era estate. Since being converted into a museum of art and botanical garden in 1960, Cheekwood has presented world-class art exhibitions, spectacular gardens and an historic estate unlike anything else. Each year, Cheekwood welcomes over 300,000 visitors, making it one of the city’s top cultural attractions, with over 20,000 member households. Not only is Cheekwood absolutely beautiful and dreamy, it also makes the perfect backdrop for any wedding or engagement session. Before Cheekwood was a botanical garden and art museum, the mansion belonged to a couple named Leslie and Mable Cheek in 1929. It wasn’t until the year 1960, this 55 area property would be turned into the museum and garden that people all over the world come to visit. This my friends is yet another hidden gem in Nashville, Tennessee. A must see for all!
