Graduate Nashville Wedding | Joshua and Demiana

The first time I met Josh and Demiana in Downtown Nashville for their engagement session, I knew right off the bat they were pretty special. Josh and Demiana are by far the sweetest, calmest and happiest couple! The way they jive together and their undeniable chemistry would have anyone and everyone in awe, such like I was. 

While Josh and Demiana went to the very same church, they actually met on campus while they were attending college in Nashville. Demiana said, “Josh’s kindness and his love for church was intriguing to her.”

Soon after, they were engaged with all of their close family and friends near by. 

Josh and Demiana’s Wedding Day in Nashville, Tennessee

It was a warm July morning, I met Demiana and her 8 bridesmaids in the bridal suite at her wedding venue, Barn in the Bend, located right outside of Nashville. Her bridesmaids wore long dresses in the most beautiful lilac color. They were all a different style. They were from JJ’s House. The ladies all got ready first, while Demiana assisted them. If that doesn’t tell you the kind of person Demiana is right then and there then I don’t know what does!! It was her wedding day, and she was helping her bridesmaids. Soon after, Demiana got into the most beautiful Olia Zavozina wedding gown of course with her bridesmaids help. It was stunning.

Across the hall from the bridal suite was the grooms suite. Josh and his 8 groomsmen were waiting patiently. The suite was very relaxed and the lighting was moody. Josh was dressed in a fitted black tux from Mens Warehouse and the gentlemen were dressed in suits also from Mens Warehouse. They were ready to get the day started! I loved their energy!

The first look at Barn in the Bend, Nashville

We did the first look on the balcony overlooking the most beautiful valley. The weather was truly incredible, too. It was warm with the most perfect breeze. Josh and Demiana wanted their bridal party involved in their first look. The ladies and gentleman lined up on both sides, bridal party size of 16, and Josh was at the very end. They cheered Demiana on as she walked down the aisle of her favorite people, leading her to her husband to be. Demiana tapped Josh on the shoulder and from there you could feel the excitement through Josh and Demianas smiles….with of course their bridal party cheering them on from behind. It was truly an epic first look!

Portrait time at the Graduate in Downtown Nashville

After their first look at Barn in the Bend, we traveled to The Graduate right smack in Downtown Nashville for their portrait session, bridal party photos and family photos. Demiana and Josh traveled in style in the most beautiful white 1958 Chevrolet Bel Air rented through Nashville’s Vintage Auto Props. 

The Graduate- What a beautiful hotel to take photos at!! If you’ve never been just imagine a Barbie house. Ok, maybe not to that extreme. But truly, this hotel is full of poppy colors, mostly pink, the most beautiful chandeliers, and when you step foot inside… You cant miss the huge Minnie Pearl photo right behind the concierge. Lets not forget the rows of sofas line up on a huge staircase inside, I can’t make this up!

We then traveled to St. Verna Coptic Church for their wedding ceremony where they would be pronounced husband and wife with all of their family and friends to witness. 

After their wedding ceremony, we ventured back to Barn in the Bend to celebrate the sweet couple over beautiful first dances, traditional wedding games, and we cant forget the cake cutting. Josh and Demiana even got to witness the most beautiful sunset as husband and wife. They finished the night by walking down the aisle of all of their family and friends cheering them on with sparklers in hand. The day was perfect.
