I was so excited going into their engagement session. The weather was beautiful. It was a little windy but nothing we couldn’t handle. It was actually warmer outside too! And by warmer, I mean, I could at least feel my hands after shooting! Haha. As always, Beshoy and Eriny came dressed to impress!
Eriny was in the most beautiful shade of a light pink long dress, and Beshoy was in a nicely fitted navy blue suit.
When going into our engagement portrait sessions this is what you should expect.

I’m a 90’s baby so when I hear Bicentennial anything, I automatically think of Robin Williams. LOL. But, surely this park had nothing to do with special robots or none the less, Robin Williams.
Ok— Let me get back on track. So, what is Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park all about? Well, let me tell you!
Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, also known as, Bicentennial Mall is a park dedicated to Nashville’s history. This park, located in the heart of Nashville, has maps of Tennessee on huge granite balls, a World War II memorial, a 95- Bell Carillon (basically huge pillars with bells in them) that sings the Tennessee anthem, and a pathway of fountains sharing history all along the way. To me, what’s most intriguing about this park? That it lays in the shadow of the Capitol. It’s absolutely beautiful.
Beshoy, Eriny and myself spent majority of our time near the Carillons. The Carillons made the most perfect backdrop.

As we were leaving Bicentennial Mall and heading our way to the Pedestrian Bridge, I came across a strip of Redbud trees at the Capitol. The photographer in me stopped dead in my tracks!!! I immediately called Eriny and asked if she wanted to make a pitstop at these trees before the bridge. In conclusion, because Beshoy and Eriny both trusted myself and my vision, the photos turned out absolutely stunning!! These Redbud trees were STUNNING and BOY, did they make the most perfect backdrop that I was envisioning!!

Beshoy and Eriny opted for their second outfit choice for this location. Both wearing neutral colors, Eriny wore the most adorable dress with a jean jacket and sandals. Beshoy wore a white long sleeve Polo shirt with blue jeans and a pair of Sperry’s.
The Pedestrian Bridge is one of my favorite locations in Nashville. On this bridge, you have the most perfect view of Downtown Nashville, the Cumberland River and Nissan Stadium, home of the Tennessee Titans! It is a beautiful location in Downtown Nashville and one that shouldn’t be missed!
It was the perfect ending for Beshoy and Eriny’s engagement session.
